I
got this cookware set as a Christmas
gift 2 years ago, and I've been using it everyday since then. It includes a 1,
2,and 6 quart covered pot, a 3-quart covered saute, and a 8.5 and 10 inch
skillet. This is exactly what I wanted in a cookware set, and appears to be a
real quality product.
The
pots and pans are made of heavy gauge hard-anodized aluminum, which gives the
cookware a hefty feel in spite of the light weight of the metal. They heat up
quickly, and hold heat evenly, which is especially nice when slow-cooking meats
and stews at low temperatures. The nonstick interior really is nonstick. I can actually cook without using butter, or
oil, or cooking sprays, and nothing sticks. The covers are made of tampered
glass with stainless steel rims and handles. The insulated attractive
orange-handles on the lids and sides really work well and remain relatively
cool throughout cooking. Besides, the stainless steel and silicone handles are
rated oven-safe to 400 degrees. You can take them from the stovetop to inside
the oven and you can bring it to the table to serve without mitts.
Even
though they are dishwasher safe we haven't done that yet. They are actually very easy to clean by hand,
as everything just wipes right off. Make sure to not use any metal tools while
cooking, to avoid any scratches. I only
use bamboo or nylon turners and spoons. It's been 2 years and the pots and pans
are still beautiful and functional.
Overall, this nonstick cookware set is light yet sturdy. The pots and pans are stylish and so easy to use and clean. I have owned my fair share of pots and pans over the years, and these are-by-far the best I have ever used! As a happy customer, I would highly recommend it.
